 The Buccaneer has received the National Golden Galleon Award from Jostens during each of the following years: 1995 - 2011.

This award is given to the top 7 - 10% of yearbooks in the country published by Jostens.  It is based on many factors including layout, design, writing, budgeting, overall coverage, business management skills, and the meeting of all deadlines.

The Buccaneer has been entered in the KHSJA (Kentucky High School Journalism Association) competition for the last two years.  We are in the Yearbook Division Class AA and won the following awards:
